New Members at The Ford Are Warmly Welcomed
When you become a member of The Ford, you’ll see how existing members go out of their way to introduce themselves to you. Our new members are welcomed into our private community with open arms — there truly are no strangers at The Ford.
New member welcome receptions are held twice per year, serving as an opportunity to socialize with one another, and our Meet & Eat program pairs new members with longtime members through dinner parties at one another’s homes. Kindness radiates between adults and children alike, an embodiment of Southern hospitality that can only be found at The Ford.

Our members take care of each other – if there’s a family emergency, members rally around and do what they can to help – from cooking food, walking the dog, driving members to appointments or picking up family from the airport and more. When there’s an occasion to celebrate, our members are there to toast to the good times and recognize special memories made right in the moment.
Here at The Ford, our members thrive on each other’s company. The Ford hosts exclusive, members-only events, like Cookies & Cocktails at The Main House, seasonal oyster roasts, nature hikes, book clubs, and much more to help our members stay connected. Outside of our hosted events, many members meet on their own for golfing, fishing, or dinner in neighboring Savannah.
