When the legendary World Golf Hall of Fame architect, Pete Dye, designed the 250-acre golf course at The Ford Field & River Club, his goal was to create a course that was fun and playable for golfers at every skill level. The result is an award-winning design course shaped by coastline, meadows and freshwater lakes, featuring a parkland-style front nine and a links-style back nine.
No matter your age or experience, this course is made for you. Plus, no tee times mean players can enjoy an unhurried game, anytime they choose.
Architect Pete Dye referred to this course as his “finest Southern design,” and we’re honored to maintain its legacy. Renovated in 2014, the course has received high praise from national publications such as Golfweek, Golf Digest and LINKS Magazine.
