First designed to house Henry Ford’s beloved cruiser, Little Lulu, The Ford’s 36-slip Deepwater Marina on the Ogeechee River accommodates boats up to 65 feet. The marina is the ideal launching point for fishing expeditions and self-guided explorations of the river, its tributaries and the open waters of the Atlantic, which is just 20 miles away.

Guided Tours
Ogeechee Outfitters, which overlooks the marina, maintains three boats available for captained trips on the Ogeechee River, the Intracoastal waterways or out to the Atlantic. Members can also use their own boat and call on a guide to lead them to special fishing or wildlife-viewing spots.

Beyond providing essential services to boaters and adventurers, Ogeechee Outfitters is a prime gathering spot, complete with old-school penny candy and Coke machines, a large screened porch with ping pong tables and oversized board games, plus an outdoor fire pit overlooking the river.

In addition to the services offered by the staff at Ogeechee Outfitters, the marina is equipped to serve the needs of Ford members who own boats. Its key features include:
