From its miles of scenic waterfront and 1,800 acres alive with centuries-old oaks, blooming magnolia trees and vibrant native wildlife, The Ford Field & River Club is a one-of-a-kind lowcountry oasis just waiting to be discovered. And discover you will. Whether it’s angling for bass on the Ogeechee River, taking a morning horseback ride, or spending a day on Pete Dye’s finest Southern links—however you choose to spend your time here, we’re confident you’ll fall in love with The Ford.
The Ford’s Discovery Experience offers guests the opportunity to enjoy three days and two nights at The Main House, Henry and Clara Ford’s winter retreat, which was completed in 1939 and is named on the National Register of Historic Places. This stay includes breakfast each morning, access to the 7,000-square-foot Sports Barn (and its variety of fitness classes) plus daily use of a golf cart to explore The Ford grounds.
