Take in the incredible natural surroundings on foot or bike several on-site trails, including the popular waterfront Lake Clara Dike Trail, McAllister Trail and scenic Sterling Creek Trail.

Grandparents spend time with their grandchildren by teaching them how to catch shrimp right off the dock in the deepwater marina. Frequent social events and workshops hosted by The Ford get our members outdoors, too. Fridays on the Fly is a weekly introduction to fly casting held at Ogeechee Outfitters, our on-property sports supply store. Girls on the Green is another weekly workshop where the women of our community gather to play the game in a friendly and supportive space. Additionally, many women participate in our monthly ladies’ archery group, which is always a favorite.
