At Hotel Bardo Savannah, you’ll discover a sophisticated retreat in the heart of Savannah. Lounge poolside in the garden-lined courtyard, pamper yourself at Saltgrass Spa or tour the exclusive social atmosphere of Club Bardo — a private club now available to Ford members through a new reciprocal agreement.
At The Ford, spend the night in the historic Main House, once the winter retreat of Clara and Henry Ford, surrounded by century-old live oaks, winding trails and rivers. As coastal breezes move through the Spanish moss and sunlight filters across the lawns, time seems to slow — whether you’re setting out from the Deepwater Marina for a day of fishing, teeing off on the Pete Dye championship golf course with no tee times or embarking on a guided sunrise kayaking adventure.
Day 1: Check In at Hotel Bardo Savannah
Begin your journey in Savannah with complimentary valet parking upon arrival at Hotel Bardo, where check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Early arrivals are welcome to drop their bags and enjoy full access to the hotel’s amenities. Spend your afternoon lounging by the pool, perhaps with an upgraded cabana experience, or venture out to explore Savannah’s historic streets.
In the evening, we recommend dining at Hotel Bardo’s exceptional St. Bibiana restaurant (not included in the package), followed by exploring Savannah’s vibrant nightlife.
Day 2: Discover Life at The Ford Field & River Club
After a complimentary breakfast at Hotel Bardo, you’ll make the short journey to The Ford, where our real estate team will welcome you with a comprehensive tour of our private coastal community. You’ll explore available homes, new construction opportunities from three on-property spec builders and the world-class amenities that define life at The Ford. Plus, you’ll have a complimentary golf cart for the duration of your stay, making it easy to explore the property at your own pace.
Your afternoon brings the opportunity to experience one of our signature activities:
- Play a round on our Pete Dye championship golf course, widely regarded as one of the finest in the Southeast, only available June 28-Sept 1
- Cruise the Ogeechee River aboard a private club boat, taking in the breathtaking waterfront vistas
- Embark on a guided kayak adventure through the serene waterways that define our property
Later, join fellow members for our popular Cookies & Cocktails social gathering, followed by dinner at The Clubhouse (not included in the package) before retiring to your accommodations at The Ford.
Day 3: One Last Look
Begin your final day with a complimentary breakfast at The Main House, followed by additional time to explore the property or meet with our real estate team to discuss membership and homeownership opportunities. Departures are scheduled for 11:00 AM, though extensions are available at member pricing for those wishing to extend their stay.
